Claire McElroy

Milieu Therapist

Claire is a recent Montana State University graduate, where she pursued a Bachelor’s in Psychology and desires to continue her education in a Master’s of Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is originally from Portland, Oregon, but has fallen in love with Bozeman due to its proximity to fly fishing in incredible trout streams. While at Montana State, she dedicated much of her time to volunteering in the Bozeman community as a youth mentor with Big Sky Youth Empowerment. Claire’s experience with vulnerable youth inspired her to become involved with another population in need of an empathetic individual to lean on. As a Milieu Therapist, she aims to uphold the welcoming and compassionate environment at EDCMT and approach patients with gentle curiosity and kindness as they navigate their journey with eating disorders.
