A week to learn, challenge stigma, and show up for our community

Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW) is an annual campaign spearheaded by the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) to educate the public about the realities of eating disorders and to provide hope and visibility to individuals and loved ones impacted by eating disorders.

Q&A with Eating Disorder Professionals

Join EDCMT staff for an informative and engaging event featuring discussions on key topics related to eating disorders, followed by time for questions and answers, on February 28th from 10am – 12pm at Your Yoga.

We’ll cover signs and symptoms, common myths, pathways to recovery, and how to effectively support loved ones who may be struggling. Whether you’re a family member, friend, student, provider, or community member, this is an opportunity to deepen your understanding and learn how to make a meaningful difference.Event Schedule:

  • 10:00–10:30 AM – Diet Culture: What It Is and How It Impacts Us + Q&A
  • 10:30–11:00 AM – Body Respect in a World Obsessed with Body Image + Q&A
  • 11:00–11:30 AM – Finding the “Why” of Movement and Exercise + Q&A
  • 11:30 AM–12:00 PM – How to Talk to a Loved One with an Eating Disorder + Q&A

Please sign up and join us for the full two-hour event, or feel free to sign up and pop in for just one or two topic sessions that are of most interest to you.

All attendees will be entered into a drawing with some amazing prizes, including a grand prize of one month of unlimited yoga at Your Yoga! Snacks and treats will also be provided.
